The higher education institution University "Privredna akademija" Brčko District BiH is an independent higher education institution established by the Decision of the Assembly of Brčko District BiH number: 01-02-1040/20 dated: 14.10.2020, for all three cycles of academic and scientific studies.

The license to operate as well as the initial accreditation was issued by the Department of Education in the Government of Brčko District BiH, case number: UP-I-37-000232/21, act number: 07-1246ZB-025/23 dated 07.02.2023, for the performance of all three cycles of academic and scientific studies.

FOR EACH STUDY PROGRAM, AND FOR EACH MODULE, TEACHING IS ALSO CONDUCTED FOR THE SECOND CYCLE OF STUDIES – MASTER'S STUDIES LASTING ONE YEAR – 60 ECTS, WHICH LEADS TO THE TITLE OF MASTER OF PROFESSION IN THE CHOSEN OCCUPATION, AS WELL AS FOR DOCTORAL STUDIES LASTING THREE YEARS, 180 ECTS, AFTER WHICH THE TITLE OF DOCTOR OF SCIENCE FOR THE CHOSEN OCCUPATION IS ACQUIRED.

Professor at the Faculty of Business and Law and Vice-Rector for Science, Research, and Development at the "Privredna akademija" University in Brčko District, BiH, Dr. Cvijetin Živanović, participated online in the International Conference "Sustainability through Tradition" – University of Herzegovina, Bijakovići, Međugorje, February 2025, with a scientific-professional paper titled: "Global Digital Compact (GDC) – Advantages and Disadvantages" / Session: "Challenges of Modern Education and Intergenerational Exchange of Knowledge and Skills". The goal of the aforementioned international conference was to explore how traditional practices, knowledge, and cultural heritage can contribute to sustainable development in all areas of human activity, given that tradition runs through all aspects of our lives. The conference was organized through the GROWTH project with partners Biotechnical Educational Centre (BIC) in Ljubljana (Slovenia) and ASPIRA University College, Split (Republic of Croatia).
